Steven J. Weiler

Steve Weiler is the Owner and Director of the Academy of Real Estate.

Steve is a 30+ year veteran of the real estate industry. Steve has been an award-winning real estate agent and manager.  As a manager he helped coach the success of 8 agents who ranked among the top 10 in their Association of Realtors for greatest number of transactions, listings sold or dollar volume in a year.  For several years in a row, both the number 1 listing agent in Montgomery County, Maryland and the number 1 listing agent in Washington D.C. worked with Steve out of the same office. Many very successful agents, managers and broker/owners today got their start working with Steve. He has always enjoyed sharing, teaching and coaching his colleagues in the industry.

Steve is a graduate of the University of Maryland in College Park, MD as well as a Graduate of the Realtors Institute (GRI). Additionally, he has obtained the CRS designation as a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) by the Realtors National Marketing Institute and numerous other real estate specific designations. He currently serves as an Associate Broker in his residential real estate firm. Steve is also an ARELLO Certified Distance Learning Instructor.

Steve has developed and taught many professional development and continuing education classes. He is a highly sought-after speaker and trainer. Steve is an active member of MREEA (Maryland Real Estate Educators Association). He has been the past President of the Maryland Real Estate Educators Association (2014-2015 & 2015-2016), a member of the MREEA Board of Directors and currently also serves as Chairman of the Continuing Education Committee.
